It's true, I've been updating everyday as planned! Hopefully you guys have been checking out the site ;)
The latest comic was from yesterday (I always seem to update at the last minute before bed):
A special, less sketchy version than normal. Still working out character designs as I go, hopefully they will kind of evolve on their own. I may be coming up to enough panels now to warrant a whole page :)
Make sure to keep checking the main comic page or subscribe to the RSS feed on the site for instant updates as they happen! Also, I will resurrect my Twitter feed: AnimorphsComic I'll probably only update the LJ once a week. Maybe I should start my own Animorphs Graphic Novel LJ community? Update that one with every update, that way you guys can subscribe to that one? Whatcha think?

Book 39 is correct. Poor Mallory, indeed. She had a difficult time getting in the BSC to begin with,she's had mono, she's very underappreciated at home, and the kids at school tortured her so much, she had to be sent off to boarding school. Then there's the movie. I feel sorry for Stacey Linn Ramsower. She must have been bored too death. Her role in the BSC movie was horribly written. But the ultimate sign is the tv show. I have seen 9 episodes, and so far, seriously, what's the point of even having her in the show? Her role is basically a joke. She's just there, being a follower and a puppet. If I hadn't read the books,I wouldn't even know why she was in the show to begin with. Poor Mallory. She just ain't getting no love. |

Sorry that it’s a photo, not a scan, so it's kinda blurry. I haven’t put ink in my printer for over a year, and my scanner has gone on a sympathy strike.
This cover is mostly bad, except for Todd. One arm draped over Elizabeth and the other ending in a closed fist. Has he ever been summarised so succinctly? I bet he punched everybody in the room seconds after this was taken.

For the people not living in the States? Did reading the Sweet Valley books give you crazy stereotypes Of the US?

So, I made this last year (when I had access to screen printing supplies) and I just kept forgetting to take a picture of it and post it! All the fanart finally reminded me. I thought you all might get a kick out of it. Sadly, not many people get it when I wear it about, but I'm hopeful that one day, some random stranger will get the joke and we'll have a nerdy nostalgic moment of joy.

Whew! It's been awhile, hasn't it? Between trying to find a job, obtaining a job, getting the flu of swines, and well...just breathing, the problems of a 13 year old heinous biotch didn't seem too important. But I had today off and was inspired by my own 13 year old sister, so here we go!

I am in a bit of an encurtido (pickle.) I have a composition due tomorrow (I know, I should have done it earlier, but I had a huge exam this week) and I really, really need to get a good grade on it. I was wondering if you lovely people could look it over and let me know what corrections I should make.

On the cover, Jessica looks quite content to be surrounded by every stereotypical type of nerd. I am most disturbed by the two guys in the front, especially the guy on her left wearing pleated pants. He’s giving her a creepy smile and looks like his hand is inching toward her leg. There’s also a kid on her right who’s wearing what has to be the thickest glasses known to man, has a slightly caveman-looking face, and a shirt that reads E=MC^2. What parent allows their kid to go out wearing a shirt that is just asking for a facepunch? Good Sweet Valley parenting, as usual.

I was actually going to write a recap for 'Mary Anne's Big Breakup', but while trying to find it, I stumbled upon 'Kristy's Big News'. Which, for the record, I completely forgot existed. I kept thinking that the 'Everything Changes' book was the first in the series, but it's actually a super special. I guess I really mustn't have liked this book, even if the cover's pink and it features lots of Charlie. (I used to have a bit of a crush on him.)
